DP World handled 22.3 million TEU across its global container terminal portfolio in the first quarter of 2025, with gross container volumes increasing by 7.5% year-on-year on a reported basis, and by 6.3 per cent on a like-for -like basis
Its flagship port of Jebel Ali in the UAE performed exceptionally well in this period. The Dubai hub handled 4 million TEU in the first quarter, which was 10% up on the same period in 2024, when throughput was 3.63 million TEU.
On a consolidated basis, at those terminals where DP World has overall control, the group’s terminals handled 13.5 million TEU in Q1, up 10.8% on a reported basis, and 8.6% on a like-for-like basis.
